A Very British Genre: A Short History of British Fantasy and Science Fiction

(chapbook, BSFA, 1995, ISBN 1-870824-37-7)

Written for the 1995 Worldcon in Glasgow, this consisted of a 20,000-word essay, bibliography, chronology, checklist of writers and index.

 

British Science Fiction Writers, Volume Two: Keith Roberts

(chapbook, BSFA, 1983)

I was co-editor, with Geoff Rippington, and also author of the 15,000-word essay that was at the heart of the booklet. The contents were: 'Introduction' by Keith Roberts, 'The Touch of Phantom Hands: The Science Fiction of Keith Roberts' by Paul Kincaid, 'Bibliography' by Mike Ashley.
